Henry Bedford

Following a lengthy illness, Henry Bedford of McLaughlin, NB, passed away peacefully at his home on November 14, 2023.

Henry was born in Three Brooks, NB, on March 15, 1937. He was the son of the late Arthur and Mary (Everett) Bedford. Henry leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years, Gay Bedford (Edgar); his daughters, Dori Bedford (Randy Reilly) of Stanley, NB, Penny McQuade (Cory) of Medford, NB; his son, Blake Bedford (Ivy) of Terrace, BC; his grandchildren, Aryn, Alex, Samantha, Rhyan, Breanna, Natasha; his great grandchildren, Chloe, Paizley, Emmerson, Armour, Hunter, Addison, Jackson and Reyna; his brother, Arnold Bedford (Pat) of McLaughlin, NB; along with several nieces and nephews.

Henry was predeceased by his parents; his son, Mark Bedford; his sister, Verna Shirley; his brother, Ronald Bedford.

Henry has been a member of the Tobique Masonic Lodge for over fifty years.

A celebration of Henry's life was held at the Tobique Chapel in Plaster Rock, NB, on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 2 pm. Mr. Kenneth Campbell officiated. Interment followed in the Anfield Anglican Cemetery.

A reading was given by Patricia Bedford. The eulogy was given by Randy Reilly.

For those who wish, memorial service to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
