Morris Albert

1948-2024

Morris Albert
Following a period of failing health, Morris Albert of Tilley, NB, passed away peacefully at his home on January 15, 2024.

Morris was born in Pokiok, NB, on June 5, 1948. He was the son of the late Theodore and Lydia (St. Peter) Albert. Morris leaves behind his loving wife, Panda Albert (Whitmore); his step-sons, Travis Whitmore (Portia) of New Sweden, ME, and Shane Whitmore (Christine) of Woodland Centre, ME; his sisters, Cecilia Rossignol of Perth-Andover, NB, Sandra Graye (Neil) of Currie Road, Patty Mavor (Keith) of Kamloops, BC, Theodora Green (Henry) of Durham Bridge, NB; his brothers, Danny Albert (Darlene) of Trenton, ON, Dwayne Albert (Dian) of Crombie Settlement, NB, Keith Albert of Oromocto, NB, Dana Albert of Oxbow, NB, and Greg Albert (Kathryn) of St. Albert, NB; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren with one more on the way; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Morris was predeceased by his parents; his first wife, Elizabeth Albert (Williams); his sister, Caroline Albert; his brothers, Darrell, Kevin, Russell, Clarence, Ronnie, and Dale Albert; his brother-in-law, Romeo Rossignol.

Morris worked in the woods in British Columbia until and injury forced him to stop working. Morris enjoyed hunting, fishing, and just about anything he could do outdoors. He enjoyed restoring vehicles and won some awards for doing so. He was a practical joker and was always ready to make anyone laugh with his sense of humor. He enjoyed watching Western movies as often as he could, sometimes the same one over and over again. Although Morris did not have any kids of his own, he treated his nieces and nephews as if they were his own kids.

Respecting Morris' wish, there will be no visitation or funeral held. A graveside service will be held at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Blue Bell, NB, later this summer.

For those who wish, memorial donations to the NB Lung Association or the Canadian Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
