Jill Bennington

Jill Monique Bennington of Tobique First Nation, NB, passed away unexpectedly in Presque Isle, ME, on Monday, January 15, 2024.

Jill was born in Limestone, ME, on January 22, 1976. She was the daughter of the late Carroll "Carl" and Marlene (Deveau) Shumate. Jill leaves behind her daughters, Brittney King (Russell) and Lydia Allen; her sons, Torrance McIvor Jr. "T.J." (Kelsey Manning) and Wyatt Allen; her grandchildren, Adelynn McIvor, Shumate King, Gatlyn King, and Torrance McIvor III; her sister, Susan Shumate; her brothers, Ronnie Shumate and Randy Shumate (Theresa).

Jill was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Debbie Korman.

Resting at the Paul Pyres Community Hall, Tobique First Nation, NB, with visitation on Thursday from 4-9 pm. A celebration of Jill's life will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 11 am from the Paul Pyres Community Hall. A feast will be held following the service.

Flowers may be sent to the hall and would be appreciated by the family.
