Georgette Godin (English)

Following a period of failing health, Georgette Godin of Grand Falls, NB, passed away peacefully at the Foyer Chez Cindy in Grand Falls, NB, on Sunday, January 21, 2024.

Georgette was born in Ste-Anne-de-Madawaska, NB, on June 25, 1950. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Emilie (Martin) Clavette. Georgette leaves behind her daughter, Lisa Godin of Grand Falls, NB; her son, Gerald Godin of Kitchener, ON; her six grandchildren and one great grandson; her brothers, Donald Clavette (Yolande) of Grand Falls, NB, Roger "Bi" Clavette (Linda) of New Denmark, NB, Real Clavette (Helen) and Lionel "Pit" Clavette (Nadine), both of Ottawa, ON; along with several nieces and nephews.

Georgette was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Conrad Godin in 1984; an infant son, Gerald; and several brothers and one sister.

Respecting Georgette's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service held. Interment of the ashes will be in the Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Grand Falls, NB, at a later date.

For those who wish, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
