Jacob Sappier

Jacob Joseph Sappier of Tobique First Nation, NB, passed away unexpectedly at the Grand Falls general Hospital on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

Jacob was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on August 30, 1994. He was the son of the late Cheryl Sappier. Jacob leaves behind his loving partner, Sierra Saulis; his daughters, Tamara Saulis, Rosalie Saulis, and Raven Saulis all of Tobique First Nation, NB; his sons, Bryson Saulis and Dexter Saulis, both of Tobique First Nation, NB; his sisters, Sipsis Bear-Moulton (Kenneth Moulton), Rebecca Bear, and Sarah Bear all from Tobique First Nation, NB; his brother, Christopher Bear of Tobique First Nation, NB; along with several aunts and uncles, and many nieces and nephews who he loved greatly.

Besides his mother, Jacob was predeceased by his step-father, Paul Bear.

Resting at the Paul Pyres Community Hall at Tobique First Nation, NB, with visitation on Monday from 10am-3pm with a traditional service to follow at 3 pm. A memorial feast will be held at the hall following the service. Interment will be at a later date.
