Barbara "Bobbie" Looman
It is with broken hearts that the family of Barbara "Bobbie" Looman of Tobique First Nation, NB, announce her unexpected passing at her home on May 13, 2024.

Bobbie was born in Massachusetts on December 4, 1961. She was the daughter of the late Ronald Sr. and Regina (Perley) Looman. Bobbie leaves behind her life partner for the past 14 years, Ricky Moulton of Tobique First Nation, NB; her sons, Christopher Cunniff (Jessica), and Steven Cunniff, both of Tobique First Nation, NB; her grandchildren, Darien Bear, Makayla Bear-Kinney, Claire Cunniff-Bear, and Christopher Cunniff Jr.; Rick's daughter, Miriah Moulton of Tobique First Nation, NB; her chosen daughter, Jennifer Newman of Panama City, FL, and her children, Devon, Nicholas, Angela, and Austin; her sister, Deborah Looman of Tobique First Nation, NB; her brother, Ronald Looman Jr. (Pamela) of Augusta, ME; her fur babies, Quinn, Annie, and Zeva; along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Bobbie was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Patricia Looman.

Barbara loved spending her time with her grandchildren. She would search for rocks with Claire. She enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes. She also enjoyed volunteering for many different organizations, such as the local food bank. She would always take care of others before taking care of herself.

Bobbie welcomed everyone as family with her boundless love and generous heart. Her bubbly personality and infectious humour made each moment brighter. Bobbie glowed with a love and happiness that radiated outward; she made those she cared about feel cherished and truly special. She was known for her big squishy hugs, and wrapped you tightly in warmth and comfort which could ease any pain. Her kindness and sincerity brought joy to all making her a friend to everyone she encountered.

Funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 11 am from St. Ann's Catholic Church, Tobique First Nation, NB. Father Curtis Sappier celebrated. Interment will be at a later date.

The eulogy was given by Norval Sappier. The urn was carried by Bobbie's grandchildren.

For those who wish, memorial donations to the Tobique First Nation Food Bank or the Victoria County SPCA would be appreciated by the family.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
