Edward Etherington

Following a period of declining health, Edward Frank Etherington of Perth-Andover, NB, formerly of Rockland, NB, passed away suddenly at his home on the morning of June 1, 2024.

Edward was born in Hawkshaw, NB, on November 14, 1956. He was the son of the late Vincent and Janet (Hamilton) Etherington. Edward leaves behind his loving wife, Linda Etherington (DeMerchant); his daughter, Shelly Etherington (Scott McLaughlin) of Carlingford, NB; his grandchildren, Sarah-Lee (Josh), Austin, and Martina; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Julia, Jade, Brayden, Brandi, and Brycen; his step-mother, Charlotte Etherington of Bath, NB; his sisters, Christine Hamilton of Pole Hill, NB, Juanita Sprague (Lester) of Hartland, NB; his brothers, Arden Etherington (late Diane) of Gordonsville, NB, William Etherington (late Karen) of Centreville, NB, and Tony Etherington (Crissy) of Hartland, NB; His best friend, Robert Bourgoin; his former son-in-law, Mark McNally of Hartland, NB.

Edward was predeceased by his parents; his sisters, Josephine Ginson (Late Stanley), Susan Campbell (late Burley), Doreen Mercier, and Lucy Hawkes (late James); his brothers, Jackie, Thomas, and Mark Etherington.

A graveside service was held on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 11 am from the Windsor Cemetery in Windsor, NB.

Edward's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to both of Edward's homecare workers, Jessica and Rose.

For those who wish, memorial donations to help cover the funeral cost would be greatly appreciated by the family.
