1941-2024

William Cronk
Following a period of declining health, William Cronk of Grand Falls, NB, passed away peacefully at the Grand Falls General Hospital on the evening of June 4, 2024.

William was born in Limestone Siding, NB, on May 15, 1941. He was the son of the late Gwendolyn McQuade (Cronk). William leaves behind his children, Lori Clyke (Jay) of Hamilton, ON, Aaron Cronk (Trish) of Milton, ON, and Tyler Cronk of Grand Falls, NB; his grandchildren, Olivia, Anthony, and Jackson; his sisters, Judy Theriault of Perth-Andover, NB, Alta Brayall (Robert) of Medford, NB, Rebecca Dixon (Curtus) of Carlingford, NB, Sandra Grant (Lance Clark) of Carlingford, NB, Nadine Draus of Perth-Andover, NB, Ellen Forbes (Michael) of Perth-Andover, NB, and Dianna McDivitt (Roy) of Presque Isle, ME; his brothers, David McQuade of Perth-Andover, NB, Donald McQuade (Anne) of Port Hope, ON, and Clarence McQuade (Nila) of Perth-Andover, NB; along with many nieces and nephews.

William was predeceased by his mother; his wife, Ellen Bird; and his sister, Annabelle DeMerchant.

Respecting William's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral held. A private graveside service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery in Limestone Siding, NB.

For those who wish, memorial donations to St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.

William's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude the nurses of the Grand Falls Extra-Mural Program and the Grand Falls General Hospital for the excellent care they gave him.
