Gerald "Weezie" Perley

Gerald "Weezie" Perley of Tobique First Nation, NB, passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 10, 2024.

Weezie was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on September 23, 1964. He was the son of the late Paul and Barbara (Ennis) Perley. Weezie leaves behind his wife, Leslie Michaud; his daughters, Mandy Perley (fiancé Bronson Nicholas), Harley Perley (Griffin Boone) of Tobique First Nation, NB, Secret Perley of Fredericton, NB, Alaska Perley of Fredericton, NB; his sons, Keagan Perley (fiancée Maci Sappier) of Tobique First Nation, NB, Drake Paul of Tobique First Nation, NB, Jerico Perley (Jasmine McCarty) of Tobique First Nation, NB, Cruze Perley of Fredericton, NB, and Derek Perley of Fredericton, NB; his grandchildren, Elijah, Ayden, Brooklyn, Madison, Calix, and Moon; his sisters, Sheila Wachtendorf of Fort Walton Beach, FL; Sherry "Mouse" Perley (Garry Sappier Sr.) of Tobique First Nation, NB; his brother, Edward Perley (Kim) of Tobique First Nation, NB; along with several nieces and nephews.

Weezie was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Nora St-Jean; his brother, Dean Perley.

Resting at the Paul Pyres Community Hall with visitation starting on Saturday at 2 pm and going until Monday at 1 pm. A celebration of Weezie's life will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024 at 1 pm from the Paul Pyres Community Hall.
