Denise Lajoie

Following a lengthy illness, Denise Therese Lajoie of Quaker Brook, NB, passed away peacefully at the Upper River Valley Hospital on Thursday, August 29, 2024.

Denise was born in Montreal, QC, on May 13, 1939. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Florence (Goulet) Leclerc. Denise leaves behind her daughters, Linda Mazerolle (Roger) of Quaker Brook, NB, Diane Fraser of Craigs Flat, NB; her son, Alain Lajoie of Montreal, QC; her nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandsons; her sister, Huguette Leclerc of St-Jean-Baptiste, QC; her brother, Richard Leclerc of St-Jean-Baptiste, QC; along with several nieces and nephews.

Denise was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Samuel Lajoie; an infant son; her sisters, Claudette, Yolande, and Gisèle; her brothers, Jean-Paul, Roger, Yvon, and Raymond.

A graveside service celebrating Denise's life was held on Monday, September 2, 2024 at 1 pm at Forest Glen Cemetery. Father Gilbert Doddatto officiated.
