After a lengthy illness, the family of Guylaine Jeannette Ouellette of Kilburn, NB, announces her passing on the afternoon of the 2nd of September, 2024, at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville, NB.

Guylaine leaves behind her husband, Roy Ouellette of Kilburn, NB; her daughters, Tammyann Bourgoin (Lee Durepos) of Odell, NB, Melanie Taverne (Chris) of Perth-Andover, NB; her parents, Camille and Marie-Reine (St. Pierre) Rossignol of Grand Falls, NB; her brothers, Michael Rossignol (Tracy) of Perth-Andover, NB, Camille Rossignol Jr. (Tammy) of Windsor, ON; her step-children, Shawn Ouellette (Carole St-Amand) of Grand Falls, NB, Natashia Riemer (Mark) of Kilburn, NB, and Ryan Ouellette of Kilburn, NB; her grandchildren, Baileyann O. (Jordan), Keshia R., Dakota O., Cassidy O., Chantal O., Corylee D., Daytona R., Colleen T., Casin O., Austin R., Xavier T., and Leroy D.; her great granddaughter, Olivia May; as well as her fur baby, Betsy. She is also survived by her chosen sisters, Trudy Finley (Chris) of Amhersburg, ON, and Christina St. Pierre (late Ron) (Mark Paradis) of Perth-Andover, NB.

She was predeceased by her infant boys, Joshua and Christopher; her paternal grandparents, Etienne and Almida (Desrosiers) Rossignol; her maternal grandparents, René and Eva (Thériault) St. Pierre.

Born on February 3, 1968 in Chatham, ON, Guylaine was raised between Ontario and New Brunswick. She always lend a helping hand watching her brothers, as well as working and helping her family out. Guylaine worked doing homecare for over 30 years. She loved spending time with her family. She adored her husband, children, grandchildren, step-children, step-grandchildren and her first great granddaughter very much. Her sleeping companion and fur baby Betsy was also her personal doctor.

She loved playing cards, cooking, baking, and sewing. She would help as much as she could to anyone in need. She will always be remembered as a kind soul who fought hard and never gave up. "Fly High Butterfly."

A celebration of Guylaine's life was held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Father Curtis Sappier officiated. Interment will be in St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

The eulogy was given by Trudy Finley.

For those who wish, memorial donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
