Charles Butler

Charles Edward Butler of California Settlement, NB, passed away unexpectedly at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on November 2, 2024.

Charles was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on June 18, 1963. He was the son of the late Raymond and Rose Marie (Leclair) Butler. Charles leaves behind his loving wife, Linda Butler (Forsythe); his daughters, Nicole Gauthier (Curtis) of Simcoe, ON, Renee Cowan (Dave) of Simcoe, ON, Ravin Forsythe of Aroostook, NB; his sons, Jamie Petroski (Dada Magayon "Bleu") of Texas, and Ben Forsythe of Morrell Siding, NB; his grandchildren, Marcus, Curtis Jr., Hunter, Thomas, Kaia Rose, Jessa, Karlie, Jakob, Nicko, and Anika; his sisters, Debbie Dixon (Danny) of Limestone Siding, NB, Grace Bourgoin (Kenny) of Gladwyn, NB, Gale Till of Grand Falls, NB, and Lucy Hamilton (Timmy) of Hartland, NB; his brothers, Eldon Butler (Melissa) of California Settlement, NB, Darren Butler (Mary Beth) of New Denmark, NB; his aunt, Linda Butler of Perth-Andover, NB; along with many nieces and nephews and several great nieces and great nephews.

Charles was predeceased by his parents; his nephew, Brad Dixon; his parents-in-law, Gary and Alberta Kinney; and his brother-in-law, Brian Till.

A celebration of Charles' life was held on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at 3 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. Roy Dee officiated. Interment will be in Sunset Cemetery, California Settlement, NB, at a later date.
