Lance Lloyd
Following a period of failing health, Lance Andrew Lloyd of Kilburn, NB passed away peacefully Friday, November 8, 2024, at the Upper River Valley Hospital, in Waterville. Born July 4, 1948, in Perth-Andover, he was the son of the late Clayton and Gertrude (Drost) Lloyd.

Lance is survived by five sisters, Margaret Drost of Bath, NB, Loretta Butt of Calgary, AB, Twila Hitchcock (Brian) of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, Colleen Dunbar (Mike) of Nackawic, NB, and Nola Ashton of Truro, NS; two brothers Stephen (Edna) of Fredericton, NB, and Brian (Serge) of Vancouver, BC; and sisters-in-law, Ethel Lloyd and Marie Bustard-Lloyd; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brothers, Douglas and Dale Lloyd; sister Kathleen Tyner; brothers-in-law Gailen Drost and David Butt.

Lance was definitely a sports enthusiast and could always be found in front of the TV watching his favorite games, especially the Blue Jays. Throughout his lifetime he played golf, basketball, baseball, curling, hockey, you name it. He spent his summers on the golf course and cherished the life-time friendships he formulated over the years. During the winter he supported the local senior hockey team and attended games both at home and throughout the local areas. In addition, since his high school years Lance was an avid collector of both hockey and baseball cards. Lance worked at the Atlantic Potato Distributors in Perth-Andover until his retirement and was a member of the Perth Legion and Elk's club for many years.

We would like to thank the staff of the URVH and Dr. Chowdhury for their wonderful and kind care while Lance was there.
