Connie Yeomans

Connie Marie Yeomans of Plaster Rock, NB, passed away peacefully at the Grand Falls General Hospital on the morning of December 30, 2024.

Connie was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on May 11, 1945. She was the daughter of the late Hugh and Edna (McCarty) Murray. Connie was the loving mother of Brenda (Stephen) of Anfield, NB, Dean (Bonnie Lee) of Plaster Rock, NB, Blake (Michelle) of Beaconsfield, NB, and the late Devin. She was the grandmother "Nanny" to Mindy Johnson (Jamie), Erika Yeomans (Tyler), late infant twins, Jeremy and Justin Johnson, Brittany Johnson (Corey), Brandon Theriault, Cassandra Murphy (Dale), Brandon Prior (Ashley) and Hunter Fournier (Zoie). She was Great Nanny to Oaklee, Charlie, Brady, Lilee, Jayden, Malcolm, Chloe, Kevin, Aveena, Frankie, and soon to arrive Baby Girl Fournier. She is also survived by her sister, Carol Giberson (John) of Maple View, NB; her brothers, Winston Murray and Alfred Murray (Yvette), both of Plaster Rock, NB.

Connie is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Clarence "Rags" Yeomans; her son, Devin Yeomans; her grandsons, Jeremy and Justin Johnson.

Connie loved spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren always brightened her day. She loved road trips and sweet treats.

Connie was kind and friendly to everyone she met. She had a deep love for her faith and lived her life serving God. She never lost her faith, even as she endured the pain and struggles due to her Diabetic Neuropathy.

Funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 2 pm from the Family Worship Center. Rev. Rob Grant officiated. Interment followed in the Linton Corner Cemetery.

Soloist for the funeral was Allison Cassista. The eulogy was given by Connie's granddaughter, Brittany Johnson, and her niece, Kelly Murray.

Pallbearers were Hunter Fournier, Stephen Prior, Corey O'Donnell, Tyler Robbins, Jamie Tapley, and Ethan Murray.

Connie's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Grand Falls General Hospital for the care given to her in her final days. Also, a heartfelt thank you is given to Connie's homecare workers, Julie, Brenda, Kim, and Roseanna.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
