Ruth Murphy

Following a lengthy illness, Ruth Ann Murphy of Perth-Andover, NB, passed away peacefully at the Victoria Glen Manor on January 1, 2025.

Ruth was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on September 24, 1950. She was the daughter of the late John and Margaret "Peggy" Murphy. Ruth leaves behind her sister, Joyce Boone (Robert) of Perth-Andover, NB; her brothers, Ronald Murphy of Port Colborne, ON, and Donald Murphy (Lynn) of California Settlement, NB; along with several nieces and nephews.

Ruth was predeceased by her parents; her sisters-in-law, Ann and Janice Murphy; and her nephew, Vance Boone.

Funeral service was held at the Perth-Andover Wesleyan Church on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 2 pm. Pastor David Hartlen officiated. Interment will be in the Presbyterian Rural Cemetery at a later date.

Music for the service was by Sandra Tattersall and Perry Swazey. The eulogy was given by Sandra Tattersall and Barbara Boone. The urn was carried by Michael Murphy.
