Robert "Bob" Brewer Robert "Bob" Brewer Robert "Bob" Brewer
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Miles Brewer, who left us on April 11, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 17, 1936 in Bath, New Brunswick and he lived a full and vibrant life, dedicated to his family and the joys of nature.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, Tennyson and Velma Brewer, uncle Albert Hallett, parents-in-law, Kenneth and Bernadette McLaughlin and son-in-law Ronald Atherton.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of over 30 years, Rebecca (McLaughlin), and children Jannette (Bob), Sandra (late Ron), Jerry (Patti), Leah (Chris), Robert (Tanya), Robyn (Scott) and grandchildren Graeme, Erika, Sarah, Jessie, Jennie, Kyle, William, Albert, Mariah, James, Brady, Gracyn, Wyatt and 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Also survived by his brother Garth (Dolly) and sister Eileen (Grover) and Becky’s siblings, Lucy (Morgan), Carol Sue (Mike), and Robert (Carolyn).

Bob was an avid gardener, hunter, snowmobiler and snowshoe enthusiast who always found peace and happiness in the great outdoors. He also loved playing cards with friends. His love for nature was matched only by his commitment to his fellow veterans. Bob served five years in the Air Force 1954 to 1959. He joined the Royal Canadian Legion in 1962 and was an active member of Florenceville branch #37.

After his service, Bob moved to Hartland and built the Ja-Sa-Le Motel, which is still up and running. After selling the motel, he worked for McCains for 17 years as a field manager, responsible for growing peas.

After a brave and short battle with cancer, he leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his fur baby and constant companion, Molly.

Bob and his family would like to extend a huge thank you to the Extra Mural program for their ongoing support and amazing care they provided to him and Becky over the last few months.

Also, a very heartfelt thank you to Father Gilbert Doddatto for being there for Bob when he needed him the most.

As per Bob’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at the Florenceville Legion, Branche #37, on Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 1-4 pm.

In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, make a donation to the Gee Flat Cemetery in Bath, NB, or the Florenceville Legion Branch #37.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
