Elaine Terrier

Following a brief illness, Elaine Terrier of Perth-Andover, NB, passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on the evening of November 18, 2025.

Elaine was born in Crombie Settlement, NB, on July 12, 1936. She was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Mitton) Townsley. Elaine leaves behind her daughter, Candace Markey (Chris) of Presque Isle, ME; her sons, Jeff Terrier (Carol) of Florida, Donald Terrier Jr. of Presque Isle, ME, and James Terrier (Lisa) of Connecticut; her grandchildren, Kyle, Danielle, Alex, Alyssa, Danny, Courtney, and Jordan; nine great grandchildren; her sister, Patsy Haladay (Fred) of New Hampshire; her brothers, Charles Townsley (Maxine) of Upper Kent, NB, and Tom Townsley of Ontario; her furry companion, Scamp the cat; along with many nieces and nephews.

Elaine was predeceased by her parents; her grandson, Jimmy Terrier Jr.; her sisters, Shirley Bartlett, Jessie Henderson, Marjorie Myers, and Martha Flint; her brothers, George and Jim Townsley.

It is easy to say that Elaine's biggest love in life was her family.

Respecting Elaine's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral held. A celebration of her life will be held in July of 2026. Interment will be in the Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Perth-Andover, NB.
