Margaret Anne Grant
Margaret Anne Grant (McKellar) of Four Falls, NB, passed away peacefully at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville, NB, on the evening of February 19, 2026 at the age of 91.

Margaret Anne was born in Arthurette, NB, on August 30, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Jean (Turner) McKellar. Margaret Anne is survived by her children, Malcolm Alexander Grant (Beth) of Four Falls, NB, Elizabeth "Anne" Simpson (John) of Fredericton, NB, and Catherine "Elaine" Kitaura of Fredericton, NB; her grandchildren, Cassie, Kyle, Amanda, Courtney, Heather, and Lumina; her great grandchildren, Lachlan, Lydia, and Benjamin Ronnie.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Ronnie Grant; her sister, Barbara Crawford; and her infant sister, Eileen.

After high school and Teacher's College, Margaret Anne started her teaching career at a one room schoolhouse in North View.

Margaret Anne married her husband and lifelong partner on July 20, 1957. After their marriage, Margaret Anne moved to Four Falls to join Ronnie in farming and later highway trucks. She assumed many duties with the farm, including helping with the harvest and looking after the bookwork. She also travelled some with Ronnie in a highway truck.

She spent many peaceful summer days at the family camp in Riley Brook that was built in 1976. In 1987, Margaret Anne and Ronnie purchased a home in Cape Coral, Florida. That led to over 30 years of spending winters in Florida, the last winter being 2019.

A graveside service celebrating both Ronald's and Margaret Anne's lives will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 11 am at the Presbyterian Rural Cemetery. A reception will be held at the St. James United Church Hall immediately following the graveside service.

The family would like to thank the Perth Extra Mural Program, Kindred Home Care, especially Sara, Jeannine, and Carla for their heartfelt and wonderful care.
