Frankie Strong

It is with profound sadness that the family of Frankie Scott Vaughn Strong of Grand Falls, NB, announce his unexpected passing at home on March 29, 2026.

Frankie was born in Fredericton, NB, on February 8, 2008. He was the son of Shannon Strong of Grand Falls, NB and Amanda Bowmaster of Medford, NB. Besides his parents, Frankie leaves behind his sister, Kiera DeMerchant (Zack Ogden) of Perth-Andover, NB; his niece, Brooklyn Ogden of Perth-Andover, NB; his paternal grandmother, Emeline Strong of Glace Bay, NS; his maternal grandfather, Frank Bowmaster of Fort McMurray, AB; and his maternal grandmother, Carol Buchanan of Centreville, NB.

Frankie was a grade 12 student at John Caldwell School in Grand Falls and was set to graduate the June. He planned to go into law enforcement following graduation.

Frankie was an easy going and simple boy and enjoyed many pastimes. Among his favorites were driving around with his friends, playing video games, four-wheeling, or really anything that involved the outdoors. But his favorite was by far getting his Nan's homemade cookies, which she sent to him on the bus straight from Cape Breton.

A celebration of Frankie's life will be held at Brunswick Funeral Home in Perth-Andover, NB, on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 1-3 pm. All are welcome to attend.
