Bernadette O'Neil

With her family by her side, Bernadette Marie O'Neil of Moncton, NB,
passed away peacefully at Villa du Repos in Moncton, NB, on June 4,
2026.
Bernadette was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on July 8, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Joseph George and Corinne Marie (Bastarache) Sawyer. Bernadette leaves behind her daughters, Lois O'Neil of Moncton, NB, Brenda Morin (Michel) of Moncton, NB, and Shelley Smith (David) of Delaware, USA; her son, Terry O'Neil (Elaine) of Edmonton, AB; her seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; her sister, Theresa Camber of Barrie, ON, and Georgine Sasseville (Michel Vaillancourt) of North Bay, ON; along with many nieces and nephews.
Bernadette is predeceased by her parents; her sons, Daniel and Harold O'Neil; her sister, Jacqueline Morin; her brothers, Jack and Firmen Sawyer.
Respecting Bernadette's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service held. A private interment service will be held at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Blue Bell, NB.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
