Malcolm Mavor
1947-2026
Following a period of declining health, Malcolm Wayne Mavor of Lower
Kintore, NB, passed away peacefully at the Upper River Valley Hospital
on June 5, 2026.
Malcolm was born on April 19, 1947. He was the son of the late Sweton and Hope (McQuade) Mavor. Malcolm leaves behind his loving wife, Maxine Mavor (Post); his daughter, April Strong (Lanny) of Moncton, NB; his son, Jason Mavor (Mistie) of Harvey, NB; his grandchildren, Haily, Christian, Garrett, and Cole; and his great granddaughter, Pearl; his sister, Gladys Post of Lower Kintore, NB; his brothers, Frank Mavor (Dawn) of Perth-Andover, NB, Arthur Mavor of Lower Kintore, NB, Keith Mavor (Patricia) of Kamloops, BC; and Earlin Mavor of Lower Kintore, NB; along with many nieces and nephews.
Malcolm is predeceased by his parents; his sisters, Peggy McDougall and Faye Kinney; his brothers, Richard, Eugene, and Robert Mavor.
Respecting Malcolm's wishes, there will be no visitation held. A celebration of Malcolm's life will be held at a later date. Interment will be in the Melville United Church Cemetery in Kincardine, NB.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Melville United Church Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
