Warren Brown of Neqotkuk (Tobique First Nation) moved on to the spirit world peacefully with his wife, daughter, and son by his side at the Dr Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on June 5th, 2026.

Warren was born in Perth Andover, NB on December 21st, 1971. He was the son of Garth and Marilyn Brown. Warren leaves behind his loving wife Melissa Brown, his daughter Molly Brown (Ryan McSheffery),his son Mackenzie Brown (Holly Brown), grandchildren Crew, Lottie, baby McBrown, his baby girl Zuri Moulton Fournier, his father Garth Brown, in-laws Delbert & Greta Moulton, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and lifelong friends.

Warren Brown will be remembered for his enormous heart, kind smile, and dedication to the people he loved. He was the kind of man who always put his family and others before himself, offering support, encouragement, and kindness wherever he went. To Warren, family was everything, and nothing was more important than the people he held close to his heart.

Warren had a deep love for the outdoors and found great joy in nature. Whether he was heading out on a side-by-side adventure, spending a day fishing, or exploring new trails, he was happiest outside. Those who knew him will forever remember one of his favorite sayings: "Let's go get lost in the woods."

Warren looked forward to Labor Day weekend each year in Neqotkuk. After retiring from playing, he continued his involvement in the game as an umpire, a role he enjoyed immensely and anticipated every season.

For 28 years, Warren served the community of Neqotkuk as a dedicated bus driver. Throughout those years, he built meaningful connections with countless young people whose lives he touched through his kindness, wisdom, humor, and occasional tough love. The many stories shared by former students are a testament to the lasting impact he made on generations of youth. His smile, advice, and caring nature will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Warren's legacy lives on through the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the memories he created with family, friends, and community members. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
