Tia Martin

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Tia Maria Martin of
Fredericton, NB, formerly of Tobique First Nation, NB, announce her
passing on June 9, 2026 as result of a motor vehicle accident.
Tia was born in Fredericton, NB, on June 27, 1997. She is the daughter of Tina Bear and Tim Martin of Tobique First Nation, NB. Besides her parents, Tia leaves behind her sons, Liam Davenport and Nathan Davenport, both of Oromocto, NB; her sisters, Trudy Elder of Tobique First Nation, NB, and Tanesha Bourque of Springfield, NB; her brother, Tim Martin Jr. of Tobique First Nation, NB; her paternal grandmother, Marion Wargo of Bath, NB; along with several nieces and nephews.
Tia is predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Judy Bear; her paternal grandfather, Dean Martin; and her auntie Dee Brown.
Resting at the Paul Pyres Community Hall with visitation starting at 2 pm on Friday and going until the service. A celebration of Tia's life will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 2 pm from the Paul Pyres Community Hall. Interment will be held at a later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Tobique Fire Department would be appreciated by the family.
