Belinda "Dottie" Hebert

1957-2026

Belinda "Dottie" Hebert
Belinda Lee Hebert “Dottie” of Plaster Rock, NB, passed away peacefully at the Grand Falls General Hospital on Monday, June 22, 2026.

Dottie was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on July 22, 1957. She was the daughter of the late Maynard Sr. and Mary (Dodge) Blair. Dottie leaves behind her son, Rocky Hebert of Smith, AB; her grandchildren; Dallas, Mason, and Emma; her sisters, Heather Weaver of British Columbia, Sharron Chappel (Kenny) of Plaster Rock, NB, and Penny Kinney (Mitch) of Anfield, NB; her brother, Manie Blair Jr. (Marie) of Birch Ridge, NB; along with many nieces and nephews.

Dottie is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Roger Hebert; her sister, Patsy Arenburg; his brothers, Wayne Arenburg and Verdell “Bub” Arenburg.

Dottie and Roger lived and raised their family in Anfield, NB. Later, they bought her parents home. She worked at Dean Dionne's store for many many years. After Roger's passing, she sold the house and moved to Alberta with her son Rocky and the grandchildren for four years. She later moved back to New Brunswick and into the Plaster Rock senior's complex. Dottie enjoyed being back in New Brunswick, but missed her grandchildren greatly.

Dottie enjoyed playing cards, and doing jigsaw puzzles. She became very involved with planning lunches, parties, bingos, and music for her friends at the complex. They became family to her and she loved them all. Dottie was a selfless and generous person who always looked after the other residents. Dottie enjoyed having Christmas gatherings with sisters and nieces. She took care of the whole gathering from meals to games.

Special thanks to the Grand Falls Hospital for the excellent care given to her in her final days. Also, special thanks to Doris Elliott for all the things she has done for Dottie, from taxiing her to going to yard sales with her and for being an all around great friend. Thank you also to Jeannie Higgins for being such a good friend for so many years. Her memories will stay in our hearts forever.

Respecting Dotties' wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service held.

For those who wish, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
