Alton Millard

Following a period of failing health, Alton Millard of Tilley, NB, passed away peacefully at his son's home in Maple Ridge, NB, on Friday, June 26, 2026.

Alton was born in Tilley, NB, on January 26, 1933. He was the son of the late Herbert and Hazel (Hanscomb) Millard. Alton leaves behind his sons, Alonzo Millard (Brittany Lunn) of Bristol, NB, and Benjamin Millard (Kay Laird) of Maple Ridge, NB; his brother, Lyle Millard of Tilley, NB; along with many nieces and nephews.

Alton is predeceased by his parents; his wife, Bertha Levesque; his sisters, Dorothy Baker, Geraldine Goodine, Ruth Moorcraft, Marina Demmings; his brothers, Gilbert, Gerald, and Gary Millard; his half-brothers, Arthur Clark and Ralph Hanscomb.

Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday from 12-2 pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Father Gilbert Doddatto officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Tilley, NB.
