Edward "Buster" Grant

Edward "Buster" Grant of Perth-Andover, NB, passed away peacefully at Medley Hall in Fredericton, NB, on July 22, 2026.

Buster was born in Piercemont, NB, on March 27, 1938. He was the son of the late Stanley and Myrtle (Williams) Grant. Buster leaves behind his daughter Patricia Grant (Mario Lauzon) of Fredericton, NB; his sons, Michael Grant (Lori) of Smithfield, NB, and Rev. Eddie Grant (Brenda) of Winnipeg, Manitoba; his son-in-law, Brent Cole of Fredericton, NB; his eight grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and two great great grandson; his sisters, Adelia Walton of Upper Kent, NB, Lois Broad (Ashby) of Perth-Andover, NB, Rosella Rice of Florida; his brother, John Grant of Saint John, NB; along with many nieces and nephews.

Buster is predeceased by his parents; his wife, Marlene Grant (DeMerchant); his daughter, Pamela Cole; his daughter-in-law, Debbie Grant; his son-in-law, Robbie Kilcollins; his sisters, Nina Smith, Marion Squires, and Leona Morgan; brothers, Edwin, Burton, Berlin, Roy, Paul, Arnold, Keith, and infant brother, Philip Grant.

Buster was an amazing father and the best "Papa" to his grandchildren.

He was a hard worker and his passion for many many years was bricklaying. There are many churches, commercial buildings, fireplaces that show off his talent and handy work all over the world.

In his younger years, he loved snowmobiling, four-wheeling, motorbiking, and enjoying his winters in Florida. But most of all, he loved his faith and he loved his God.

Resting at Calvary Tabernacle in Perth-Andover, NB, with visitation on Thursday from 12-2 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 2 pm from Calvary Tabernacle. Pastor David Ferrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery.
