Shawn Dee
It is with great sadness that the family of Shawn Nicholas Dee announces his death at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on August 2, 2010. Shawn was battling leukemia since March of 2009.

Born in Perth-Andover on August 30, 1972, he was the son of Richard and Deloris (Donovan) Dee. Besides his father, who lives in Limestone Siding, and his mother, who lives in Morrell Siding, Shawn leaves behind his wife Candace Dee (Paul); his children Jenna Dee and Benjamin Dee, both at home; his grandmother Bonita Dee of Limestone Siding; his sister Tabatha Fournier (Tony) of Fredericton; brothers Shannon "Punky" Dee (Sophie) of Fredericton, Travis Dee (Emily) of Aroostook; half-brother Riley Dee of Fort Fairfield, ME; parents-in-law Stewart and Sandra Paul of Tobique First Nation.

Shawn volunteered alot of his time with Minor Hockey in Perth-Andover. He was also a member of the Perth-Andover Volunteer Fire Department.

Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday 7-9 pm and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Calvary Tabernacle, Perth-Andover, on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 10 am. Rev. D.T. Ferrell officiating. Interment will be in the Donovan Cemetery, California Settlement, NB. For those who wish, donations to the Perth-Andover Minor Hockey Association or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
