John "Bud" Crawford

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of John "Bud" Crawford of Wapske, beloved husband of Lynden Crawford, at the Upper River Valley Hospital on October 30, 2012.

Bud was born in Anfield, NB on November 9, 1931. He was the son of the late Ransford and Elizabeth (Sisson) Crawford. Besides his wife, Bud leaves behind his daughter Michelle Windle (Patrick) of Fredericton; sons Michael Crawford (Ann) of Newfoundland, Randy Crawford (Donna) of Gladwyn, Shawn Crawford of Wapske; grandchildren Jad Crawford (Monica), Mel Crawford, Tyler Crawford (Andrea), Andrew Crawford, Garrett Windle, and Kate Windle; great grandchildren Jamie Etter, Avy Crawford, and Summer Crawford. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers Harold, Joseph, and Wendall Crawford.

Bud loved Lynden, his childhood sweetheart and wife of 62 years. he loved to socialize, often dropping-in to visit with family and friends. Bud had a wicked sense of humour and loved to laugh. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his "adopted brother" Clair Green at his back camp. He found peace in the miracle and beauty of nature. Bud will be forever missed by his loving family.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at St. Machutus Anglican Cemetery, Arthurette. Rev. Amanda Longmoore officiated.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
